Anritsu X-ray machines
The Anritsu X-ray machine is designed for detection of contaminants in a product.
The machine operates by reflecting an X-ray through the product and measuring the product density. An abnormal density reveals a foreign object, and the machine gives an alarm with an acoustic and light signal.
The product to be inspected can be either in solid or liquid form. The machine detects objects not belonging to the product, such as plastic, glass, metal, chips of bone, stone etc. Unlike a metal detector the Anritsu X-ray machine also reveals stainless steel in a product.
The Anritsu X-ray machine can also identify the correct quantity of the products in a pack, and also for example in bread packages not only the quality of the product, but also the correct quantity of plastic clips used for closing of the package. Additionally, the machine shows the weight and measuring results in real time on the screen. Machines are available with different sizes of the opening.
